Nebulizers are grouped by how they make mist. The name tells you the mechanism; it does not tell you the box contents or battery arrangement of a particular model.

Saline, medicine and your device
Whichever device you choose, use a sterile saline product labeled for inhalation or nebulizer use. Do not mix your own salt water or use tap, bottled or distilled water instead. Do I need a nebulizer made for singers?
We found no study comparing singer-branded nebulizers with general ones. The studies we cite tested 0.9% isotonic saline, not a particular device. One practical difference is that a singer-branded kit may bundle saline.
Is a nebulizer better than a vocal steamer for singing?
